Factors are the things that affect habitats, they are divided to two biotic and abiotic factors.
biotic factors are living things while abiotic factors are non living things. 
Examples of abiotic factors are: temperature, turbidity, salinity, rainfall, humidity, light, ocean currents and waves, wind, etc
Examples of biotic factors are: parasitism, predation, commensalism, symbiosis, competition for food, etc
