Basically all you need do is look for the lcm of the 2 fractions when you are adding or subtracting but when multiplying you just multiply the 2 numerators and 2 denominators and when you have mixed fractions you make them improper fractions. When dividing, let's say you have 4/8 ÷4/2 you can simply interchange the numerator and denominator of the second fraction nd make it a multiplication I.e 4/8 ÷ 4/2 now becomes 4/8 * 2/4.
